Emergya Wind Technologies to restart operations under new international ownership

Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT), which recently declared bankruptcy, is set to resume operations. The wind turbine manufacturer, with offices in Amersfoort and Enschede in the Netherlands, will continue under the ownership of three international companies.

GE Vernova to supply high-voltage equipment for renewable energy corridors in India

GE Vernova has been selected by Power Grid Corporation of India (Powergrid) to supply more than 70 extra high-voltage transformers and shunt reactors for major transmission projects across India. The 765 kV class equipment will support infrastructure for renewable power evacuation under India’s Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework.
STR and SubC Imaging agree subsea technology partnership

STR, a provider of sensor technology and solutions for marine applications has signed an exclusive partnership with SubC Imaging, a manufacturer of subsea cameras, video recording systems and real-time data tools. The agreement broadens STR’s access to optical and inspection technologies for subsea applications.
Clearway acquires 137 MW Tuolumne wind project in Washington State

Clearway Energy has completed its acquisition of the 137 MW Tuolumne Wind Project, located in Klickitat County, Washington, USA. The wind farm generates enough electricity to supply over 44,000 households annually.
Ørsted sells 24.5% stake in West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm to Schroders Greencoat

Ørsted has completed the sale of a 24.5% stake in the West of Duddon Sands Offshore Wind Farm to funds managed by Schroders Greencoat. The wind farm, located around 14 kilometres off the west coast of the United Kingdom, has been operational since 2014 and has a total capacity of 389 MW.
